Fighting Your Speeding Ticket

Fighting your speeding ticket can be done but you must know what you look for and what to avoid. Avoiding the same… lame excuses that every one else gives is a great start. You sometimes open your mouth and forget that you can stay too much before you even get started. One of the tricks of the trade that Trey taught me was to never take the stand at traffic court when you are going to fight your speeding ticket. If you take the stand anything you say WILL be used against you. Go check out Trey's How To Fight Your Speeding Ticket Fast Track system… I believe it can help you beat your speeding ticket and also avoid the next one.

Tips For Beating Your Speeding Ticket

Cooperation is best when trying to avoid a ticket. By Benita Adams, 13News

You are flying down the highway and you see flashing lights in the rear view mirror. You know what that means – you’ve been nailed. Some good people have their ways of trying to beat the rap – like the woman who bats her eyes at the officer – or makes up some great reason why she was speeding. (By the way- I've tried this- didn't work for me)

Virginia State Police say the typical reasons drivers give rarely work.

Sgt. D.S. Carr has heard just about them all. "Sometimes it's tears, sometimes it's anger, sometimes they hope they can get out of it by giving a good excuse. Most times, it's a bad excuse. It's not really a good excuse, like I'm running late for work, I've got to go pick up my child, I've got to go to the restroom, I've got a headache, I don't feel good"

Sgt. Carr says instead of making excuses, be compliant. Virginia State Police statistics show men break road rules more often than women and are issued more tickets for both speeding and crashes.

So, if you pulled over, here are some tips to help you.

-Ask why you’re being stopped. Don’t ask how fast you were going.

-Watch your attitude. Be polite.

-Don’t argue. Do what you’re told

By taking that advice, you might end up with a warning instead of a ticket.

Of course, the best way to ensure you don’t get caught speeding is not to speed.

If you do get caught speeding, then by all means fight it. Check out Beat the speeding ticket  - the #1 source online to fighting your speeding ticket… Did I mention it was written by an ex- traffic cop?
